Neolithic Revolution

The Neolithic Revolution describes the transition from hunting and gathering to agriculture.
In a Hunting and gathering society the primary source of food comes directly from the wild, with no form of domestication. The definition of agriculture "is the process of producing food, fiber, fuel and other goods by the systematic raising of plants and animals". A subsisting farmer is someone who farms a small area with limited resource, and produces only enough food to meet the needs of his family. commercial Intensive agriculture is farming that involves large fields and numbers of animals, large resource, and a high level of mechanization.
